Microsoft vs. Apple

I have had more experience with Microsoft, but I am going to try to make this post as fair as possible. This is going to be about the products, not just the computers.

Microsoft:
Computers: Microsoft's computers tend to be cheaper IF you don't want their Microsoft Office software. Also, there is much more software available to those who want it on Windows computers.
Phone: The Windows phone does have a decent amount of people using  it, but it has only made a small dent in Apple's iPhone market.
Misc: Microsoft also has a gaming platform over Apple. Microsoft's Xbox has almost always been competing with Sony's Play station since it came out for the best gaming system.

Apple:
Computers: Apple's computers are more for people who are not going to be using it for games, editing programs not made by Apple, and other "demanding" programs.
Phone: The iPhone is currently DOMINATING the market of smart phones. Almost everyone in the United States has a friend or two with a iPhone right now, and my last post proves it.
Misc: Apple's other products, such as its laptops, are very light and very thin for what they can do. Also, some of Apple's products, such as the iPod, are also making other product out dated compared to them. With their extremely small design that still holds hundreds of songs, it's no wonder why.
